Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ded.rip (the "Service"), operated by DEDRIP ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ded.rip. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. What ded.rip is

ded.rip lets you create a personal "link-in-bio" profile page at ded.rip/yourname, with customizable appearance, links, and uploaded images. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis (see Section 10).

3. Accounts

• You sign in using a third-party provider (Discord or Google). We do not create or store a password for you.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your provider account secure.
• You choose a username. Usernames are provided on a first-come basis and may be reclaimed or changed if they are inactive, impersonate others, infringe rights, or violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload, post, link to, or share content, or use the Service, in any way that:

• is illegal, or depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors (we report such material — see Section 7);
• harasses, threatens, defames, or doxxes any person, or targets a private individual;
• impersonates another person or organization, or is deceptive or fraudulent;
• infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• contains malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise the Service or its users;
• contains sexually explicit, extremely violent, or hateful content, or content that promotes self-harm;
• attempts to bypass storage limits, rate limits, security, or moderation, or places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create and upload. By posting it to ded.rip, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, cache, display, and serve that content solely to operate and provide the Service (for example, showing your profile page to visitors). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that are cached or in backups for a reasonable period, or that we must retain by law.

You are solely responsible for your content and for having the rights to use it.

6. Uploads and storage

Uploads (such as avatars and backgrounds) are subject to size and storage limits that we may change. We may compress, resize, or re-encode uploaded files. We may remove files that exceed limits or violate these Terms.

7. Moderation, takedown, and reporting

• We may review, remove, suspend, or disable any content or account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or the law.
• Anyone can report a profile using the report control on the page, or by contacting dedripcontact@googlegroups.com.
• We use automated and manual tools to detect child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by law, and preserve related information.

8. Copyright (DMCA)

If you believe content on ded.rip infringes your copyright, send a notice to dedripcontact@googlegroups.com including: your contact details; identification of the work; the URL of the infringing material; a statement of good-faith belief; a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your signature. We will remove infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content will be preserved. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DEDRIP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or USD $20.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DEDRIP from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your content or your violation of these Terms or the law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there.
